• Condensation between the panes. The seal on the insulated glass unit has failed. Miami’s humidity finds the breach quickly; once moisture is inside, the argon or krypton fill is gone and the glass cannot be resealed, only replaced.

• Hard to open or close, year-round. Frame or sash warping from thermal expansion, or a balance that’s wrong for the sash weight. Swapping the balance without confirming the sash weight on CWS windows is the quickest way to make the problem worse.
